Completed 2004-07-26

This one was fairly challenging for several reasons. First of all, the filter plugin I was using wasn't working properly or I had some settings that were skewed. Somehow I ended up with black, aliased, wavy splotches instead of soft, realistic waves. Perhaps this had to do with my transparent background. I don't know. I'm still waiting on some feedback on that from other Paint Shop Pro users.

Second, the instructions, while well-written overall, were extremely condensed and a little confusing due to formatting. There were no "checkpoints" along the way for me to verify that I was progressing as I should. I would rather see tutorials which are wordy and perhaps go for a little overkill on explaining each step to make sure I'm doing everything right. In fact, once I get to the point where I can create original artwork, I'll put together some tutorials that'll knock your socks off.
